Manchester City can confirm that defender Megan Campbell has undergone tendon surgery on her right foot.
The Republic of Ireland international sustained the injury in last month’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture away at Tottenham Hotspur.
She will now begin her rehabilitation process and everyone at the Club wishes her a full and speedy recovery.
