The Republic of Ireland defender, who put pen to paper on a new contract with the Club this month, is continuing her recovery from tendon surgery on her right foot.
The left-back has unfortunately endured similar long-term setbacks during her four-year spell at the Club but is determined to put her problems behind her, eager to showcase the other strings to her bow.

Campbell (celebrating her birthday today) is perhaps best-known for her remarkable long throw-ins, which have proven a useful weapon in City’s armoury.
However, as she looks ahead to a new campaign – and new chapter for City with new manager Gareth Taylor at the helm – the 27-year-old asserts she wants to be admired for her contribution with her feet; not her hands!
“I don’t want to be known as the person who was always injured,” she said.
“I know I’ve got more about me as a player (than just throw-ins).
“I’ve had a rut of a time with injuries but I’m trying to get out of that now.
“Fingers crossed, I’m at the end of that stage and I can kick on.
“I don’t think I’m too old in terms of footballing years to be able to have a few more in my legs!”
Campbell’s best display in a City shirt undoubtedly graced the Wembley Stadium turf, as she provided two superb assists in the 2017 FA Cup Final victory over Birmingham – both with her feet.
To achieve that feat again would be a dream, she added.
“Fingers crossed!” she laughed. “I’d take that!
“If you told me I could play one more time at Wembley and get two more assists, I’d bite your hand off!
“Just get me back on the grass first! Maybe (I’ll be on throw-in duty with Gareth), maybe not!
“On a personal note, I’d just like to get back fit and be around the team, playing as many minutes as I can.
“At the start of the season, I was getting in, playing games and I was involved. It was so nice and then to have this hit me in January was a kick in the teeth.
“I’ve done it before but fingers crossed, this is the last one.
“What’s going on around the world today puts things into perspective. You look at the bigger picture and I don’t get so caught up in little things that don’t go my way – in rehab or out of that.
“It’s nice to have a different type out outlook and not take things to seriously.

“When I work hard, I’ll work hard and I’ll have a goal in mind but if it doesn’t happen, I won’t get fixated.
“I’m more driven than ever to be back involved.
“We’re all excited. People have been missing football for far too long.
“We’re really looking forward to the WSL season starting again, kicking on and seeing what Gareth is all about and having a positive outlook on this situation, bringing all that back into the new season.
“I’m buzzing to get back at City now.”
