Following the success of The Football Association’s inaugural event last season, all eyes will once again be on the women’s game on the weekend of 14-15 November (during the men’s international break), with all FA Women’s Super League fixtures staggered to allow for uninterrupted television coverage.
Topping the bill is City’s trip to Manchester United on Saturday 14 November (12:30pm, live on BT Sport).
The clash marks just the second league encounter between the two sides and first of two Derbies in a week in November, as the neighbours lock horns again in the Continental Cup the following Thursday (19 November, 7pm).

City triumphed in the very first professional league meeting, courtesy of Caroline Weir‘s thunderbolt, while the reverse fixture was sadly cancelled due to the early conclusion of the 2019/20 campaign.
The pair did meet twice in cup competition, registering one win apiece in the Conti Cup and FA Cup tournaments.
Women’s Football Weekend promises a thrilling prospect. Amongst the highlights, title heavyweights Arsenal and Chelsea go head-to-head, while Aston Villa also face cross-city rivals Birmingham City.
More than 75,000 fans attended WSL and Championship fixtures during last season’s first Women’s Football Weekend, and due to current government guidelines not permitting access to the stadiums, The FA has moved to ensure every WSL fixture can be watched across broadcast.
The Championship promises to be equally exciting with Blackburn Rovers v Liverpool being streamed live on The FA Player, while Charlton Athletic v London City Lionesses and Coventry United v Leicester City will be streamed by the home clubs.

“For those who follow a club at grassroots level, where fans are allowed, it is a great opportunity to show your support by attending in person. It’s sure to be another fascinating and exciting weekend.”
