CREATIVE MIDFIELDER

The 20-year-old Argentinian midfielder moved to the Etihad Stadium in January 2023 on a five-and-half year deal.

He joined from Velez Sarsfield, where he made his debut in March 2022 and featured in 33 games in total, scoring three times with two assists.

He also helped the Buenos Aires club to the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores but missed both legs of the last-four defeat to Flamengo.

Perrone played for Argentina Under-16s and was part of the national squad at the Under-20 South American Championship in Colombia in January.

He made his senior debut for City when he came on as a substitute in a 4-1 win over Bournemouth in February 2023.

And to top off his first season in English top-flight, Perrone is part of Pep Guardiola‘s Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League winning team, making history as we celebrate securing the Treble.

Continuing to be a key young figure in the senior team for the 2023/24 season, Perrone travelled to Athens with the squad for our debut performance in the UEFA Super Cup in August.

He was an unused substitute as Guardiola‘s side beat Europa League champions Sevilla on penalties.
