Bio
Cultured attacking midfielder
Oscar officially joined the club as a scholar in July 2019 from Norweigan side Vålerenga.
A Norweigan youth international, Oscar was an integral part of the U18’s winning back-to-back league titles in 2019/20 and 2020/21.
An incredibly technically gifted midfielder, capable of playing centrally as well as out-wide, Oscar was promoted to the EDS squad for 2021/22.
He ended the season as EDS Player of the Year, following 26 appearances in the successful Premier League 2 campaign.
He joined Pep Guardiola’s squad for their pre-season tour in Asia where he showcased his ability and strong work ethic.
As a result, Bobb was promoted to first-team football for the 2023/24 season.
Oscar won his first senior winner’s medal as part of the City team who won the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup before a breakthrough moment came in January as he latched on to Kevin De Bruyne’s pass for a last-minute winner at Newcastle.
That goal proved a pivotal moment as Bobb earned his first Premier League title.
Seemingly set to make a big impression in 2024/25, disaster struck a few days before the campaign began with an injury that all but ruled Bobb out for the term.
After working hard to get back to full fitness, Bobb will be hoping to pick up where he left off.
