It was a week of returns at the City Football Academy as the men’s team readied themselves for the return of competitive action.

The reigning champions flew home from Japan, buoyed by a final preseason win against Yokohama and began preparations for our latest trip to Wembley.
Sergio Aguero, Ederson, Gabriel Jesus, Nicolas Otamendi and Riyad Mahrez all returned from their summer breaks, too, whilst the women’s team’s World Cup contingent, including new signing Ellen White, were also back in training.
