Ben Wilkinson’s Under-21s side return to league action on Friday 13 February, with kick-off against the Rams scheduled for 19:00 (UK).
Our young boys in blue will be looking to build on our winning run in the competition which has seen us beat Leeds United and Stoke 3-0 and 6-1 respectively.
A third successive win could see City climb back into the top eight and also move eight points clear of 17th.
It would be a vital step closer to securing our place in the play-offs.
But standing in our way is a 28th-place Derby County side in search of a second win this season and the drive to keep their play-off hopes alive.
