The motor room is how City ambassador Mike Summerbee described the Club’s laundry room.
It is a fitting tribute to those whose names are rarely known but who keep those with universally familiar names looking pristine each and every matchday.
Mark Hughes and Kevin Keegan also expressed their appreciation for our laundry ladies whilst in charge and now, as part of our City DNA series to celebrate our 125th anniversary, we’re putting them in the spotlight.
Laundry Manager Janet Evans has worked at City for 26 years and therefore, has witnessed first-hand our modern transformation from the lows of the third tier to the remarkable highs under Pep Guardiola.
