We put the spotlight on two-goal hero Swansea.

In addition to his brace, the 31-year-old made 129 touches and achieved a 93 per cent pass completion rate with 10.8% of possession.

The triumph at the Liberty Stadium set a new Premier League record of 15 consecutive victories. Silva hailed the Blues’ ‘special achievement’.

“Of course, it is special when you win so many games,” he declared.

“It’s important for confidence and our confidence is high at the moment. We are very happy.

“After the derby, to play in that way three days later was so difficult. We did well. We are happy with the three points.

“Apart from the victory, we are playing really good football. For that, the fans are enjoying it and we are happy for that.

“On Saturday, we play Tottenham and we have to be focused. They are a very good side so we will see.”
