The Portugal international helped City to another Premier League title, his third league winners medal since joining the club in the summer of 2017, and a fourth successive Carabao Cup crown.
The tricky Bernardo produced 14 direct goal contributions in the 2020/21 campaign across 45 appearances in all competitions.

The 26-year-old, who can operate anywhere along the frontline and also in midfield, is well known for his intense pressing high up the pitch, proven by his 375 pressures and 113 ball recoveries in the league season.
Bernardo is an integral part of the City squad and adds plenty of passion and a winning mentality to the side - along with some humour when needs be.
