Bernardo Silva said that City were determined to learn the lessons of a frustrating evening at Southampton following our 1-0 defeat at the St Mary’s Stadium.
Despite dominating possession and creating a host of chances, City came away empty handed from the South Coast with Che Adams’ first half goal proving the difference.
“It’s a big disappointment but I honestly think the team played a good game in terms of the quality of and the chances we created. But we just couldn’t convert them,” said our Portuguese midfielder.
“These are frustrating games when you create 10/15 chances and can’t score.
“We have to improve and get better. Hopefully in the next few games we’ll get back to winning ways ahead of the FA Cup semi-final and Champions League.”
