This weekend’s showpiece will be played in front of a sell-out crowd at Wimbledon’s Plough Lane with the game also being screened live on BBC 2.
Coming just three days ahead of International Women’s Day 2022, it’s yet further demonstration of the continued positive steps made by the women’s game.
And for his part, the City boss says leading the side into Saturday’s final will be an occasion that fills him with enormous pride.
“I feel privileged and proud to work with this group of players every day. I see how hard they work, and I am immensely proud to represent this group,” Taylor declared.
“I take a lot of pride in the women’s game. You see how everyone working within the women’s game is really striving to make it better.
“The reason we want to do that is because the girls deserve it. They deserve it massively.
“We are nudging things along in the right direction and I feel myself being in it, you really have a responsibility to drive change
“It’s great (the sell-out). A great advert for the game and it’s being played on BBC 2 so there is good access to it.”
