Taylor says the achievement marks a sign of how far the game has grown and the positive direction of its trajectory - and hopes to see it become a regular occurrence.

“We will have to find a stadium that can fit 90-odd thousand!” he said. “What a spectacle. It was amazing.
“I watched both games - the one in Paris [against Bayern Munich] too. It was great yesterday.
“For it to be ‘El Clasico’ as well was a really good spectacle. The level of football was good. All the fans will have gone home happy and saw a really good spectacle.
“[It’s about] opportunity. We saw United played at Old Trafford last weekend and there was a big push for that game. It’s about getting it out there, advertising it well.
“We are moving in the right direction. Even in my short time, I’ve seen big changes. There’s a want for it - people want to see it and want it visible.
“We want more support so we can showcase talent. It was amazing to see so many supporters.”
