Prior to City’s 2-1 win over Leeds United earlier this month, Cityzens came together at the Etihad Stadium to donate over 470 items of clothing as part of PUMA’s RE:FIBRE campaign.

Joleon Lescott and Shaun Wright-Phillips met with fans in City Square to help collect generous clothes donations from supporters – in recycling bins in the shape of the two City Legends’ heads!

The garments will be taken by PUMA to be broken down into new textiles, helping reduce waste and promoting long-term sustainable solutions for recycling textile waste.

As well as having their picture taken with City legends, fans also had the chance to win tunnel club tickets and other exclusive prizes if they donated. Winners will be contacted before the end of the season.

If supporters were unable to bring clothes on the day, don’t worry, you can still support the PUMA RE:FIBRE campaign by dropping off your items at the Man City Stadium Store via the PUMA take-back bins.

We accept all apparel brands and all types of clothing except for underwear, swimwear and socks. Please make sure to only return freshly washed garments.
