The single-leg final will be played on or prior to Saturday 9 May.
The venue, date and kick-off time for the prestigious showpiece will be confirmed in due course on mancity.com and the Official Man City App.
This will be City’s 14th appearance in the FA Youth Cup final, the second highest of any club in the competition’s 74-year history.
It will also be the first FA Youth Cup final Manchester derby since 1986, when the previous format of the competition saw the final take place across two legs.
After a 1-1 draw in the first match that year, City won our maiden FA Youth Cup trophy after a 2-0 win at Maine Road in the second leg.
Our team included the likes of Ian Brightwell, David White, Paul Lake and Paul Moulden and were led by manager Tony Book.
Now, we’ll be going for a fifth success in the competition against our old foes.
Oliver Reiss’ Under-18s confirmed our place in a third successive final after a 4-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at the Joie Stadium.
Goals from Ryan McAidoo, Teddie Lamb, Reigan Heskey and Oliver Tevenan completed the perfect comeback for City after Blackburn took an early lead through Valentin Joseph.
Rovers became the fifth team City beat en route to the final, having beat Fulham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton in the rounds prior.
Our cross-city rivals beat Crystal Palace 2-1 after extra-time in the other semi-final clash at Old Trafford.
