The 18-year-old hit the ball first time from outside the box and found the top corner of the net to give Crewe the lead against Port Vale.
Watch a video of his stunning strike on the club’s youtube channel here.
Unfortunately his goal would prove to be mere consolation as the Railwaymen went down 2-1 in the local derby, but Evans is enjoying his time with the Alex. Quick to win a starting berth, the England youth international has completed 270 minutes of football in the last two weeks – Crewe have also recorded defeats to Wycombe in the FA Cup and Carlisle in the league.
He will be aiming to play a key role as his loan side fight against relegation from League One.
Gutted about the result today but very happy to have scored my first League goal thought the fans were excellent #CreweAlex ⚽️❤️

Elsewhere, Harry Bunn celebrated his 21st birthday last week with a goal as Sheffield United u21s ran out 2-1 winners over Coventry.
The striker was in the right place to convert a low cross from the right to help the Blades to victory, and he might have added a second at the death but for the efforts of opposition keeper, Burge.
Alex Henshall has now returned to City after the conclusion of his one month loan to Bristol Rovers. Henshall made two appearances for Rovers and was an unused sub on a further two occasions, and will hope the experience will stand him in good stead as he aims to make the grade at the Etihad Stadium.
On the continent, Karim Rekik has slotted back into the starting XI for PSV after his injury lay-off. The Dutch defender had a good start to his loan spell but spent two months out with an ankle problem. Rekik has now resumed his partnership with Jeffrey Bruma at the centre of defence and completed the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Heerenveen.
Defender Reece Wabara has made a starting berth at Doncaster his own. Wabara was on the field for all 180 minutes of the Championship side’s win over Yeovil at the weekend and the midweek defeat to Charlton.
Paul Dickov’s Rovers now find themselves in a rather precarious position, lying just five points above the relegation zone.
Gareth Barry continues to be a regular name on the teamsheet for Everton, and played another 90 minutes in an exciting Merseyside derby which finished 3-3 at Goodison Park. The Toffees have had a bright start to life under Roberto Martinez and sit in seventh place in the Premier League.
Ghanaian midfielder Dominic Oduro played 59 minutes in AGF Aarhus’ 2-2 draw with Vestsjaelland. Dominic has now made 10 league appearances for AGF so far this season and helped them to reach fifth in the Danish Superliga table.
His City teammate, Mohammed Abu, was not involved.
Unfortunately, Scott Sinclair did not win the race to be fit in time for West Brom’s derby clash with Aston Villa. The winger has been out since suffering a hamstring problem in the Baggies’ victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Speaking before the game, West Brom manager, Steve Clarke told the club’s website: “Scott has been in and out of the group - but training with the group.
“He just needs careful management with his injury to make sure he comes back 100 per cent ready to go.”
George Swan remains on the sidelines with a broken leg.
