Man City boss Pep Guardiola has named Fernando and Leroy Sane in his starting XI to take on Arsenal.

Two changes for City

City have made two changes from the midweek win over Watford.

In comes Fernando with Ilkay Gundogan ruled out with injury, while Leroy Sane starts with Nolito on the bench.

The Blues look likely to go 4-2-3-1 against the Gunners, with Fernando and Yaya Toure the added protection in front of the presumed back four.

Stats and milestones

City have failed to win this fixture in the previous six attempts.

The last time the Blues tasted success was in 2013 when the two teams produced a feast of goals – City triumphing 6-3 in an unforgettable clash.

The last six meetings have produced an average of four goals per match - so there’s rarely a clean sheet between two sides who put the emphasis on attacking football.
