Pep Guardiola is once again up for the Manager of the Month accolade after he oversaw three wins and one defeat in our four matches, results that mean we remain top of the table, 13 points clear of second-placed Manchester United.
Guardiola won an unprecedented fourth-consecutive Barclay’s Manager of the Month award in December and is now looking to make it five in a row.
He faces competition from Carlos Carvalhal (Swansea), Eddie Howe (Bournemouth), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Jose Mourinho (Manchester United), David Moyes (West Ham) and Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham).
Meanwhile, both Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne are in line to win the Player of the Month prize.
Aguero scored five goals - more than any other player in the division during January - including a perfect hat-trick in the win over Newcastle. His goals came at a rate of one every 72 minutes.
And De Bruyne’s dazzling form continued. He was directly involved in three goals (scoring one and assisting two) and was handed the man-of-the-match award in the 3-0 win over West Brom.
They face competition from fellow nominees Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertongen (both of Spurs), Eden Hazard (Chelsea) and Callum Wilson (Bournemouth).
