The Manchester City striker scored five goals - more than any other player in the division during January - including a perfect hat-trick in the win over Newcastle. His goals came at a rate of one every 72 minutes.
Aguero beat off competition from teammate Kevin De Bruyne, as well as Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertongen (both of Spurs), Eden Hazard (Chelsea) and Callum Wilson (Bournemouth).
It’s been another special season for Aguero, who is now just two goals away from his 200th for the Club.
He’s scored 29 in all competitions, including 21 in the Premier League.
Since the run of the year, he has scored 14 in 11 matches, more than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues.
Congratulations to Sergio on another well-deserved accolade!
