Today the city of Manchester will come together to mark the first anniversary of the attack at the Manchester Arena.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, accompanied by Club captain Vincent Kompany and Club ambassador Mike Summerbee, visited the Manchester Arena before the parade to lay a wreath in memory of those who tragically lost their lives one year ago.

Today the Club unveiled a permanent mosaic in the memorial garden at the Etihad Stadium bearing the words ‘This City Remembers’ alongside the Club badge and the Manchester worker bee – the symbol of the city.

This evening City in the Community, represented by pupils from St. Anne’s R.C. Primary School, will join together with the Manchester United Foundation Choir for a choral performance in Albert Square at the Manchester Together with One Voice anniversary event, which begins at 7pm.
