The Blues suffered a disappointing 2-1 reverse at home to French side Lyon in our opening Group F encounter two weeks ago.
Since then, however, City have recorded three straight wins in the Premier League and Carabao Cup without conceding a single goal.
And the Brazilian goalkeeper is confident the trip to Germany will bring the very best out of Pep Guardiola’s side.

Said Ederson: “After a defeat, the best answer is always a win, so our team is looking forward to the next game, so we can show our football and aim for the win.
“Against Lyon, we made more mistakes and we suffered two goals. Our team didn’t show the quality that we had presented in the previous games and that affected our game.
“We never underestimate our opponents. In this competition whoever makes less mistakes wins.
“Now we must raise our heads and think about the next games.
“It was our first home game, of course we would like to have won it, but in football you are subjected to these things, you can’t always play your best, we must keep going, train and focus on the next game.”
Guardiola’s side have been tipped by many pundits as amongst the potential winners of this season’s European showpiece.
And having tasted Premier League title success in his first season at the Club following his move to City from Benfica in 2017, Ederson says there is a hunger amongst the squad to transfer that success onto the Champions League stage.

“Of course, we’ll work for that (reaching the final),” Ederson added.
“We know that it’s a difficult and hard competition, with different moments and sometimes it also depends on the other team’s moments.
“But we have everything we need to achieve great things in the future!”
