Vincent Kompany’s vital strike against Leicester has been nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Season award.

The City centre-back scored with a thunderous effort from 30 yards as City beat Leicester 1-0 in the penultimate game of the campaign to put us on the brink of back-to-back titles.

Fans can have their say on who should win the award, with the public’s votes combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner.

The shortlist is made up of Kompany’s thunderbolt and every winner of this season’s Carling Premier League Goal of the Month award.
