Two goals from Sergio Aguero and a customary strike against Bournemouth from Raheem Sterling earned us all three points at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts made it clear early on that it wasn’t going to be easy for City - despite Pep Guardiola‘s side winning our previous eight games on the south coast.

However, with a quarter of an hour on the clock, Sergio Aguero struck to give City the lead. Kevin De Bruyne provided the assist which was his 50th in the Premier League. Our Belgian midfield-maestro reached the half-century landmark in just 123 games - quicker than any other player.

Raheem Sterling doubled our lead with his 11th goal in ten games against Bournemouth.

It looked as if that two-goal cushion was going to take City into the break until a fine Harry Wilson free kick in added time pulled one back for the hosts.

Sergio Aguero added his second and City’s third of the game in the 64th minute, securing all three points for Pep’s side.

The goal was Sergio’s 400th of his career, and was assisted by David Silva who was playing his 400th game for City!
