Scott Carson completed his loan move to City earlier today. The goalkeeper will bring an abundance of experience to Pep Guardiola's squad, having played over 500 games in his career for various Englis

Carson started his career at Leeds United before moving to Liverpool in 2005. 

He featured in Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League campaign, playing against Juventus.

A series of loan spells followed, with Carson applying his trade at Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton and Aston Villa, before making a permanent move to West Brom, his most prominent club who he helped return to the Premier League at the first time of asking in 2010.

After 118 appearances for the Baggies, he moved to Turkey to play for Bursaspor for two seasons, before returning to England and singing for Wigan Athletic.

In 2015 Carson joined Derby County. He played 30 league games last season as the Rams made the playoffs in their most recent attempt at returning to the Premier League.
