Premier League action resumes on Saturday when City travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham.

City will look to take advantage of the early kick off by winning our game in hand and returning to the top of the Premier League table, for a short while at least.

No fewer than 12 of Pep Guardiola’s players returned from international duty to train on Thursday afternoon, as the manager put almost his full squad through their paces in preparation for the domestic test ahead.

With no more international football between now and the end of the season, the Blues’ full attention will be on the remaining eight games of the Premier League campaign, as well as the FA Cup and Champions League fixtures to come.

Our internationals enjoyed a successful time away, no more so than Raheem Sterling who scored his first England hat-trick against Czech Republic; and added another to his international tally when the Three Lions beat Montenegro just three days later.

Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane were also on target for their respected countries, and will look to take their goalscoring form into this weekend’s game and beyond.
