The pair will meet at the Academy Stadium for the second time this season, after Nick Cushing’s side romped to a 6-0 triumph in May.
On that day, the Blues boasted six different scorers as Lucy Bronze, Jill Scott, Jane Ross, Jennifer Beattie, Kosovare Asllani and Toni Duggan found the net.
City and Doncaster have met twice in the competition before - each registering a victory.
An 8-0 victory at Aston Villa secured MCWFC’s place in the quarters, while the Belles earned a 2-1 win against Sunderland.
The last eight of course includes WSL 2 outfit London Bees, who emerged victorious on penalties against Chelsea.
This year’s final will be played at the Academy Stadium, providing extra incentive for Cushing’s side to reach their second final.
The Blues defeated Arsenal in 2014 to lift the trophy in their inaugural season in the top flight.
The 2016 quarter-final clash will take place on 6/7 August. Ticket information will be released soon.
