The Manchester City striker and her colleagues have captured the hearts of the nation with their exploits out in France over the past month.
And despite the pain of Tuesday’s heart-breaking 2-1 semi-final loss to the United States, the legacy of the Lionesses’ run is set to have a profound and positive long-term impact on the women’s game.
But more immediately White – who is currently joint top scorer at France 2019 with six goals – says she and her colleagues are desperate to finish on a winning note when Phil Neville’s squad tackle the Swedes this afternoon.

Four years ago, the Lionesses secured bronze medals after beating Germany 1-0 to finish third at the 2015 World Cup.
And White – who has scored in all but one of England’s six games to date in France - says she and her colleagues are hungry to repeat that achievement this time round.
“We want to win that bronze medal and go away from this tournament holding something,” she said.
“I think it would be a huge disappointment (if we didn’t win) and we hold ourselves accountable for not getting to that final,” added White, who has scored in all but one of England’s six games.
“We obviously want to win that bronze medal. There’s a lot of players that were in the team that got a bronze medal (in 2015) and a lot of players that weren’t.
“A medal would be something that we’ll be really proud of and we can look each other in the eye and think we did achieve something at this World Cup.
“It may not be gold but a bronze medal is still an achievement.”
Today’s third and fourth place play-off is followed by tomorrow’s final between holders the United States and Holland which takes place in Lyon, kick-of 4pm.
