Hosts France ensured they finished top of Group A after an incident-packed final group game against Nigeria saw them edge a 1-0 win thanks a to a twice-taken penalty by Wendie Renard
The initial penalty - awarded after a video assistant referee review for a foul on Viviane Asseyi - hit the post.
But keeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was ruled to have moved off her line early and Renard converted the re-taken spot-kick.

Despite the defeat Nigeria could still make the last 16 as one of the best third-placed teams.
Elsewhere in Group A, two penalties in either half gave Norway a 2-1 win over South Korea to seal their place in the last 16.
Caroline Graham Hansen found the bottom corner from the penalty spot early on, after West Ham’s Cho So-Hyun had tangled with Chelsea’s Maria Thorisdottir in the box at a corner.
New Barcelona signing Graham Hansen was later caught in the area and this time Isabell Herlovsen struck home from the spot, before Yeo Min-ji turned in a late consolation from close range.
Earlier on, Germany made it three wins out of three as they swept aside South Africa 4-0 in their final Group B encounter.
Melanie Leuploz, Sara Dabritz, Alexandra Popp and Lina Magull were all on target for the Germans.
The other concluding Group B clash saw Spain and China play out a goalless draw – a result that left both sides on four points and ensured each booked their last 16 ticket.
Should England top their group, it means Phil Neville’s Lionesses could meet China in the knockout stages.

Today’s action sees the concluding games in Group C with Italy taking on Brazil and Australia facing Jamaica, both games kicking off at 8pm.
Brazil and Australia both need just a draw from their respective games to guarantee qualification.
Jamaica could still qualify in theory. The Reggae Girlz must beat Australia and overhaul a goal-difference deficit of eight, as well as hoping for results elsewhere to go their way.
Already-qualified Italy will top their group if they do not lose to Brazil and could even win the group if they lose narrowly.
