Megan Campbell has signed a new Manchester City contract.

The Republic of Ireland defender, who joined Nick Cushing’s side in February 2016, has signed a one-year extension, keeping her at the Club until the summer of 2020.

The 25-year-old has clocked up 28 appearances for the FA Cup and Continental Cup holders. Having missed much of the two double-winning campaigns through injury, Campbell now asserts she has put her injury woes behind her and is ready to play a key role in helping Cushing’s side to more silverware.
