UWCL: Squad take walk along Lake Lugano!

The city squad are in Switzerland ahead of tonight’s Champions League opener against Lugano.

And ahead of the game, the players and staff took a walk along Lake Lugano, a beautiful, picturesque glacial lake on the border between southern Switzerland and northern Italy.

It was the perfect way to relax and focus the mind ahead of such a vital match.

The mood in the camp is superb after our historic derby win on Saturday in front of a record WSL crowd at the Etihad, and you can see the best images from this morning’s walk in the gallery below courtesy of Club photographer Matt McNulty.
