And Lucy Bronze and Rose Lavelle are both included in the 55-strong women’s shortlist having been nominated by their fellow professionals around the globe.

In both the men’s and women’s categories, the goalkeeper, as well as the three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards who received the most votes will be selected for the World 11.
The remaining spot in the respective World 11s will be assigned to the outfield player with the next highest number of votes.
FIFPRO and FIFA will reveal the respective World 11s on Thursday 17 December.
