In what has been an incredible and historic debut season for the Norwegian, the past six days have seen the striker create two more remarkable footballing landmarks.
His second minute penalty in our 2-1 win at Fulham last Sunday, saw Haaland chalk up his 50th goal of the campaign.
He then created yet more history in our midweek 3-0 victory at home to West Ham.
A superb second half chip chalked up Haaland’s 35th league strike of the season and saw him become the all-time leading Premier League scorer for a single season, overtaking previous record holders Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole.

Spanish international central defender Laporte knows better than most about the predatory prowess of our centre forward, having trained and played alongside him all season.
However, even he admits he has been taken aback by the way Haaland has taken English football by storm in his debut campaign at the Etihad.
And he revealed how Erling prefers to reserve his goal-scoring prowess for matches rather than during training sessions at the CFA!
“He makes it look like it is easy, but it is not. He is a machine,” Laporte declared.
“When I saw him playing for Borussia Dortmund, he was a different player and I didn’t realise the potential that he had.
“But when he came here and he has scored that many goals this season, it is something crazy.
“He doesn’t really like to score in training to be honest, he prefers to score in the games!

“He is scoring more goals in the games than he is in training! I think he rests a bit more in the training sessions.
“He is very humble, a top guy and I have a very good relationship with him.
“His mentality to compete is perfect and his level this season is something unbelievable.
“Now he has to keep going on the same way to reach more and more things such as titles and the objectives he has in his mind.
“He will do everything he wants, he has the capacity to do everything he wants to.
“For sure he will reach his objectives.”
Laporte also believes Haaland’s goal prowess has been one of the key factors that have piloted City into a thrilling scenario where we are still fighting for silverware on three fronts.
Top of the Premier League by a point with a game in hand too on Arsenal, City also have a Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid to look forward to as well as the small matter of next month’s historic first ever all-Manchester FA Cup final.
However, Laporte says the players’ collective focus and mindset won’t be distracted by looking too far down the line.
“It is exciting. We are all happy to be able to compete for three different competitions and to have the opportunity to win three titles in a single season,” Laporte added.
“This team is a winning team and we have the mentality to win every single game.
“Maybe the one thing that has changed from the other years is we have a machine up front who is scoring goals in every game which is making our job easier.
“I think this is maybe the difference.
“The most important thing for us are the titles this season and if we can do it, it will be something great at the end.
“We are a strong group and I think we are all friends and happy for each other.
“We can achieve three titles, but it will be tough because in the FA Cup we have Manchester United, in the Premier League we have many good teams and teams that are fighting to survive and stay in the division.
“We just have to be focused on ourselves.
“In the Champions League we face another big team in Real Madrid and we will try to get our revenge from last year.”
