Benjamin Mendy and Ilkay Gundogan also return, with Sergio Aguero returning on the bench.

Joao Cancelo gets a crack at his natural right-back berth and Benjamin Mendy is on the left.

Rodrigo will anchor a midfield trio that includes Ilkay Gundogan and skipper Kevin De Bruyne.

Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus will interchange roles as a front three.

Pep Guardiola’s men sit ninth in the Premier League table following Saturday’s 0-0 draw away to Manchester United.

However, we are currently on a six-match unbeaten streak in all competitions and, during that run, have not conceded a single goal, which is a club record.

Our opponents sit 19th in the Premier League table, but know a victory at the Etihad would haul them out of the relegation zone.

The Baggies have lost their last two after picking up their first win of the season over rock bottom Sheffield United at the end of November.

Last Meeting

Pep Guardiola’s men extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to 15 points with a 3-0 win over West Brom back in January 2018.

Fernandinho’s first half strike after an incisive through ball from Kevin De Bruyne put us ahead at the break, before the Belgian got in on the act himself with around 20 minutes to go and Sergio Aguero rounded off proceedings just before stoppage time.

Significantly, this game was particularly memorable for Aymeric Laporte, with our French centre-half making his Manchester City debut having made the switch from Athletic Bilbao.
