Six days later, on 27 October, City travel to Marseille for Matchday 2.
Then it’s back-to-back matches with Olympiacos, with the first meeting at the Etihad on November 3 and the return in Greece on November 25.
City wrap up the group stage in December, travelling to Portugal to take on Porto on December 1 before completing the Group C fixtures against Marseille at the Etihad on December 9.
