PREVIOUS MEETING
You have to go back to 3 January 2009 to find our last meeting with Nottingham Forest, which ended in a 3-0 home defeat in an FA Cup 3rd Round tie.
Nathan Tyson and Robert Earnshaw opened the scoring for the visitors just before the hour mark, before Joe Garner rounded off the scoring with 15 minutes to play.
LAST TIME OUT
Manchester City produced another memorable comeback, overturning a two-goal deficit to beat Crystal Palace 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
A John Stones own-goal, followed by a Joachim Andersen header put the visitors ahead at the half-time break.
Bernardo Silva’s deflected strike brought us back into the game before Erling Haaland‘s first Man City hattrick secured us the three points and yet another memorable comeback for Pep Guardiola‘s side.
FORM GUIDE
City remain unbeaten in the Premier League following our comeback victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
An Erling Haaland hattrick saw us come from two goals down to win 4-2 and keep us second in the Premier League table.
Forest sit 14th in the Premier League after four matches, beginning their first season in the top flight since 1999 with one win, one draw and two defeats.
