The Catalan has revolutionised the club and English football since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in 2016.
He has won an astonishing 18 major honours in that time – making him the most decorated manager in City’s history.

Guardiola has overseen an era of unprecedented dominance of the English top-flight, with City becoming the first side ever to win our nation’s highest tier four years in a row.
He is now the Premier League’s current longest serving manager having been in post just over two years more than Brentford boss Thomas Frank.
In total, he has six Premier League titles including the highest points total recorded when we collected 100 from a possible 114 in 2017/18.
The 2022/23 season was perhaps the standout term in our history, with City becoming only the eighth side ever to win the European Treble when we lifted the Champions League on a momentous night in Istanbul.
Our current boss is only the second man ever to take charge of 500 City matches after Les McDowall, who led the first team 592 times between 1950 and 1963.
He has done so with an astonishing win percentage of 70.94% - a figure only possible with a relentless drive to succeed that has taken the club to the very top of world football.
That means he has won 354 of his 499 games at the Etihad so far.
233 of his 322 Premier League games have ended in victory while he has also succeeded in 60 of his 93 games in the Champions League.
With 1,211 goals scored and only 429 conceded, City have a whopping positive goal difference of 782 since Guardiola’s arrival.
Only Alex Ferguson, with 13 titles in 26 seasons, has won the English top-flight more as a manager than Guardiola.
By winning the title in six of his first eight seasons, the boss set a phenomenal pace over his first 300 games in the Premier League – outshining all of the modern greats.
He claimed 704 points in that time, 70 more than the next best over his first 300 games; Jose Mourinho.
After 18 league games this term, we have now picked up 744 points under Guardiola, which is far ahead of Liverpool’s haul of 699 since 2016.
He has now won 12 league titles in 15 seasons as a manager in a major European league, which is twice as many as the next best boss since 2008.
Under Guardiola, we have accumulated at least 90 points in four seasons.
That is more than any other side in the Premier League has managed in the league’s entire history, with Liverpool and Chelsea both hitting that mark three times. Manchester United have done it twice and Arsenal once.
Having recently signed a new contract that will see him remain at City until 2027, Guardiola is now striving to recapturing those exceptional standards after a difficult recent run of form.
Congratulations to Pep on this latest incredible landmark!
