The City forward is set to return to the squad for the FA Cup sixth round clash with Newcastle United at the Etihad on Saturday at 17:30 (UK).
Grealish has had a tough season with a painful deadly leg earlier in the season and muscle injuries since the turn of the year.
He looked dejected after suffering the latest blow in the FA Cup victory over Luton Town but Guardiola said he has trained well and will call upon him against Newcastle if required.
“He feels good,” the City boss said at his news conference. “We have the game then after we have two weeks when he’s going to work as good and hard and as clever as possible so he can come back to be ready.
“The muscle wasn’t the hamstring it was another one, I don’t know the name in English but it’s a muscle that isn’t a big influence on the others which is why he came back quicker against Luton.
“But he’s trained really good in the last two or three day and feels good and positive.
“Maybe tomorrow we need him and especially these two weeks to work well so when he comes back we can have the Jack this season unfortunately we had few time and he can help us for the last part of the season.”
Grealish was a huge part of our Treble-winning season but this campaign has been frustratingly disrupted by the setbacks.
However, Guardiola says his side have coped well in his absence with one more test to see if we can maintain our ambition of being in contention for the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup going into the final international break before the end of the season.
“We always dream to arrive until the last international break before the end of the season to be in all the competitions and tomorrow will prove if we are able to do it,” he added.
“[Jack] has helped us but not like last season, the most important thing is he recovers well, takes a good condition and help us if we need him.
“I won’t say how important he is, of course he is a lot but we have to be ready without him. To say better or worse with him is unfair, we have fought incredibly throughout the season for us to be where we are.”
Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson are set to miss the tie with the Magpies and it’s been a tough season for the Belgian playmaker who was ruled out for over five months following surgery.
Striker Erling Haaland also had two months out with a foot injury but Guardiola says he cannot complain about the situation.
“We are perfect,” he said. “We had five months without Kevin and two months [for Haaland] but when you compare to other clubs we’re quite good and have done really well again.
“It’s impossible to have a season without injuries but I don’t have the feeling we’ve not had much.”
