The Portuguese international has further extended his stay at Manchester City with his new deal keeping him at the Club through until the summer of 2027.
Having joined from Benfica in September of 2020, Dias made an instant impact with his defensive acumen, technical quality and winning mentality all proving key ingredients in a magnificent debut season for City
The 24-year-old proved a key talisman in a record-breaking 2020-21 campaign that saw City regain the Premier League title, retain the Carabao Cup and reach a first-ever Champions League final.
That tremendous success also saw Dias receive individual plaudits with Ruben named the FWA Footballer of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season and Etihad Player of the Season.
And just last week Dias’ impact was further recognised when he was voted as the UEFA Champions League Defender of the Year for 2020-21.
