Deyna Castellanos scored two goals in Venezuela’s 4-1 win over Haiti to win their second match of their CAC Women’s Games campaign.

The City midfielder featured for the entirety of the game as her national team came from behind to secure all three points.

It’s her third goal of the competition after she scored a 40-yard chip in their opening game against Costa Rica.

Castellanos’ first goal in the 13th minute drew Venezuela level after conceding a goal in the eighth minute.

Her second of the game – and Venezuela’s fourth - came in the closing stages as Haiti struggled to control possession.

Paola del Carman Villamizar Ochoa and Floriangel Apostol added their names to the score sheet as Venezuela maintain the top spot of Group A.

Castellanos and her team mates face Guatemala, who have also won both their group games, on Monday 3 July, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 (UK).

The winner will top Group A of the CAC Women’s Games.
