“[Aston Villa have] changed a lot. They’ve added to their player roster - in January too, they’ve signed some experience and good quality.
“No surprises that they’ve done okay.
“A good opponent for us to face tomorrow. Looking forward to the home tie for us and to use it as an advantage.”

Last time out
Filippa Angeldahl‘s late strike ensured City qualified for the last eight of the Continental Cup as Group B winners with a 1-0 victory over Leicester City.
The Swede found the net from Lauren Hemp‘s cutback as stoppage time approached at the Pirelli Stadium.
City’s reward is a quarter-final tie away to Bristol City on Wednesday 25 January.
Previous encounter
City were edged out in a thrilling contest at Villa Park on the opening day of the season.
Goals from Alisha Lehmann and Rachel Daly handed Aston Villa an early two-goal lead, but a Laura Coombs brace and Bunny Shaw strike saw Gareth Taylor‘s side take the lead early in the second 45.
However, a Kenza Dali strike soon after and second for Daly turned the game on its head to earn the hosts a 4-3 win.

City have been in sensational form of late, and boast a 100% record in 2023.
We are unbeaten in 12 matches - a run which stretches back to September - winning 11 of those fixtures.
