City will take on Manchester United in the last 16 of the FA Women's Cup.

The tie will be played away and is the pick of the draw - but also represents a difficult hurdle for Gareth Taylor‘s side.

The Blues edged a step closer to Wembley with the 8-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest at the weekend as City’s 2022 goal-glut continued.

Now the City will need to overcome our cross-city rivals to earn a quarter-final place.

We’ve only met United once before in the FAW Cup - a 3-2 away win in the fourth round in 2020, with Ellen White (2) and Jill Scott on the scoresheet.

It also means there will back-to-back Manchester derbies, with City hosting the Reds in the FAWSL a fortnight before.
