Fully focused on what's to come...

Our players were back in training at the City Football Academy on Tuesday after Sunday’s 5-0 Barclays Women’s Super League defeat of West Ham.

We notched up a record 13th successive WSL victory with a superb performance at the Joie Stadium against the Hammers, thanks to goals from Leila Ouahabi, Laura Blindkilde Brown, Jess Park and a Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw brace.

City’s WSL win record

We have now surpassing our own record in terms of consecutive WSL wins, set between November 2020 and April 2021.

It was also Gareth Taylor‘s 100th success as City boss after just 137 matches in charge.

That result puts us top of the table with 49 points from 19 games and three matches remaining. Defending champions Chelsea have 46 points but a game in hand in one of the most thrilling title races in WSL history.

Now, attention turns to the trip to Bristol City on Sunday 28 April. That match starts at 18:45 (UK) and will be available to watch live in the UK on Sky Sports.

Ahead of that one, Taylor and his players put in the hard work in the spring sunshine in Manchester.
