Promising stopper
Goalkeeper Eve Annets signed for City in the summer of 2024 – joining the Club from Barclays Women’s Championship side Reading.
The teenager progressed through the Royals’ academy and went on to grab three senior appearances for the Berkshire outfit.
Her professional debut came in October 2023 against Tottenham Hotspur in the Continental Cup group stage ahead of her maiden first-team home outing against Arsenal three months later.
Before she was her afforded her Reading bow, she made her first outing for England Under-19s in a 5-0 win over Denmark and has continued to represent the Lionesses youth side.
Comfortable with the ball at her feet, the goalkeeper’s height also means she’s able to dominate her box effectively, despite her tender years.
Eve joined Portsmouth on loan for the first half of the 2024/25 season, and she’ll gain further experience during the 2025/26 campaign on loan at WSL 2 side Crystal Palace.
