Experienced goalkeeper Bettinelli signed a one-year deal in June 2025 in time to join Pep Guardiola’s squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.
The English shot stopper began his career at Fulham having progressed through their Academy.
Loans at Dartford and Accrington Stanley early in his career saw him earn the chance to be the Cottagers’ first choice in 2014/15.
He played 120 times for them in total before another loan at Middlesbrough in 2020/21, turning out 41 times in the Championship.
That was followed by a move to Chelsea in the summer of 2021, where he spent four seasons as a valued part of the Stamford Bridge squad.
He now arrives in Manchester to provide competition for Ederson and Stefan Ortega Moreno at City as we chase yet more silverware.
