Manchester City moved through to the semi-finals of the U18s Premier League Cup after a thrilling 4-2 victory at Stoke.
Tommy Doyle, Jayden Braaf (2) and Henri Ogunby scored the goals that saw Gareth Taylor’s side progress in stunning fashion.
It was a brilliant performance form the young Blues and the perfect morale boost ahead of Friday’s FA Youth Cup fifth-round tie away at Derby County.
After the disappointment of last season’s group-stage exit in the U18s Premier League Cup, City are very much on course for to win the coemption this time around, with Taylor’s players growing in confidence with every passing game.
