Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne remains out with a knee injury, but with Ilkay Gundogan and Nicolas Otamendi returning in the Champions League in midweek, boss Pep Guardiola has a nearly fully-fit squad to choose from.
“Except Kevin, the guys are fit,” Guardiola confirmed.
Both sides come into the game off the back of good Champions League results, with City defeating Shakhtar Donetsk 6-0 and United winning 2-1 away at Juventus.

City can move 12 points clear of United with victory on Sunday, but Guardiola is wary of a side he feels are showing powerful form of late.
“No doubts about that,” Guardiola said. “They were able to win in Turin. Juventus are so strong. Apart from 10-15 minutes after the goal from Cristiano (Ronaldo) they were so stable.
“They are aggressive without the ball, everybody runs in front, everybody runs backwards.
“A few weeks ago, they went to Stamford Bridge, one of the toughest places - and drew 2-2 in the last minutes. They are always so complicated.”
Unbeaten City top the Premier League table with 29 points from the first 11 games.
But Guardiola believes it is far too early to talk about title contention.
“In November, it’s impossible,” he declared. “They (United) recovered well from tough moments - they were 2-0 down v Newcastle. It’s a big club with a big mentality.
“When we arrive, we try to convince the team to never give up. In the last few months, never lost two, three games in a row.
Guardiola added: “Now, everything is open. Football changes - you don’t know what will happen.”
