TACTICS AND FORMATION
City are likely to go with the usual, fluid 4-3-3 formation against Spurs.
That means a back four of Josko Gvardiol and Kyle Walker in their usual full-back roles, with Ruben Dias and Manuel Akanj in central defence.
Rodrigo will pivot the midfield trio alongside Phil Foden and Bernardo.
Alvarez, Doku and Haaland will be the front three, but as ever, those combinations could change.

PEP GUARDIOLA PREVIEW
The boss revealed that John Stones is ‘much better’ after his recent injury lay-off.
The City boss also gave updates on the availability of Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes.
Kovacic returned to training earlier this week, while Nunes’ recovery will take a little longer.
“He [Stones] is much better, yeah. He’s really close to coming back,” said the boss.
“He’ll be with us; he’ll be there.
“Mateo is already back, I think,” he said.
“He trained well yesterday, but Matheus is still maybe days or weeks away.”
PREVIOUS MEETING
In our last meeting with Tottenham at the Etihad, we recovered from conceding two goals in two minutes at the end of the first-half to produce a stunning second 45 and beat Tottenham 4-2 on a memorable night in January this year.
We then faced them in London less than a month later, where they secured a narrow 1-0 win.
LAST TIME OUT
In our last league game, we were held to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad by Liverpool, with Trent Alexander-Arnold cancelling our Erling Haaland’s opener.
As for Tottenham, they lost 1-2 against high-flying Aston Villa last weekend at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
