Pep Guardiola says Phil Foden is available after picking up a slight knock against Newcastle last weekend.

John Stones and Aymeric Laporte made welcome returns to the bench against the Magpies as well and are available for the Selhurst Park trip.

Keeper Sam Johnstone is still missing for Palace and Cheick Doucoure is serving a two-match ban.

On Patrick Vieira: “Well I’ve not been with him to know exactly in the locker room. But his experience as a football player, a part of that he was in France, already have a big experience with Crystal Palace, he’s done a really good job.”

On playing at Selhurst Park: “Premier League, every game away is difficult. At home as well. But Selhurst Park always has been, yeah definitely. Crystal Palace always in the previous seasons especially at home we struggled a lot to get results.”

PREVIOUS MEETING

Crystal Palace took a two-goal lead into half time after an early John Stones and a powerful Joachim Andersen’s header handed the Eagles a strong advantage at the Etihad Stadium. 

However, City showed their quality and finesse in attack in the second half, with Bernardo Silva getting us back into the contest.
