City have the chance to make it 11 Premier League wins in a row this evening and 17 consecutive wins in all competitions.
But Everton represent a difficult test.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side can go level on points with sixth-placed Liverpool ahead of this weekend’s Merseyside derby.
The Toffees have two games in hand on the teams above them – apart from City – and are genuine Champions League contenders.
Their main issue has been winning games at Goodison Park, where they slipped up again at the weekend, losing 2-0 to struggling Fulham.
City have unbelievable momentum at the moment, but the loss of Ilkay Gundogan is a huge one given the form he is in.
The way both teams play makes this an unlikely goalless draw, and with the Toffees playing an open, attacking brand of football, it should be an entertaining 90 minutes at Goodison Park.
