PEP GUARDIOLA PREVIEW
“They have the courage to play, face the challenge without any fear, and after it’s not just that,” he said.
“They play direct into channels they have ability to build up the patterns are so clear.
“They play really, really good with the football. Quite similar to Bournemouth for the way they play but it’s Premier League and the FA Cup and I would not expect different from my experience these years I have been in England.”
PREVIOUS MEETING
Our last trip to Kenilworth Road saw City travel south on 10 December 2023. The hosts took the lead on the brink of half-time through an Elijah Adebayo strike.
Pep Guardiola’s side were forced to work hard for the three points but finally drew level courtesy of a Bernardo Silva goal shortly after the half hour mark.
Jack Grealish scored three minutes later before City were able to hold out for the 2-1 win.
LAST TIME OUT
City extended our unbeaten run to 17 games in all competitions following our 1-0 away win over Bournemouth.
Phil Foden scored his ninth Premier League goal to put City ahead at the Vitality Stadium half way through the opening 45 minutes.
The hosts tested City’s defensive line with some late opportunities as they searched for an equaliser. But Pep Guardiola‘s side were able to hold out for a vital three points to move within one of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
